Our clients commissioned us to excavate the basement level of their one family home to secure more headroom in the family room. The rear yard is a full story below the street grade providing four usable floors. During the course of the project it was determined that a sunroom was desired at the rear garden level. However, the family did not want a deck blocking access from the kitchen and dining room on the parlor floor. The result was the design of a gently pitched copper roof profile over the arced sunroom.
